We are pleased to announce that our entire firm was able to present as part of the Kentucky Justice Association’s Bad Faith Insurance Seminar on April 17, 2020. While the event was originally scheduled to take place at The Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY, it ended up being the Kentucky Justice Association’s first event held since the COVID-19 pandemic swept the nation, and thus took place on Zoom.

The 6-hour seminar helped fulfill Kentucky CLE (continuing legal education) requirements for many attorneys and included 1 hour of ethics.

Brian Brownfield and Sarah Jane Dufour and Kelly Brownfield led a session called “Ten Litigation Tips for Insurance Claims,” and spoke at the virtual event. Our team of attorneys helped fellow lawyers:

  • Know the law on tort claims and workers’ comp claims
  • Listen to real-life insurance disputes and resolutions
  • Be up to date on case law updates
  • Understand the ethical dilemmas associated with insurance law

Although unusual in its execution, the event was a success and Brownfield Dufour PLLC was able to lead bad faith insurance litigation in Kentucky.

We are grateful for the opportunity and happy to share our commitment to our practice areas.

For the past 4 years, our firm has been helping clients navigate insurance claims and legal action.
We would be honored to help you, as well.
